After a thirty year career in nursing, Johanna Janssen has embarked on a new path writing Christian fiction. Her first full-length manuscript, When the Last Stone Falls is inspired by her parent’s experiences in the Netherlands before and during World War II.
Eager to hone her writing skills, Johanna can frequently be found at writers’ conferences and is a member of a local writer’s group, American Christian Fiction Writers, and the Canadian Word Guild. When not writing, Johanna attends a local Toastmasters Club. She enjoys reclaiming old furniture, and spending time with friends and family.
